Russia's Central Bank Moves To Shut Down All Russian CryptoCurrency Exchanges, Claiming They Are Pyramid Schemes!

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

Following the recent news that China's government is clamping down on cryptocurrencies - it was today reported that the Russian government is also planning to shut down internal exchanges within it's borders...

Much is at stake when it comes to cryptocurrency adoption - especially for central banks who have, for decades, mercilessly exploited their position to steal the wealth from pretty much everyone, syphoning it into the hands of a very few. So denied was their technique that it has only been relatively recently that we have had empirical scientific evidence that the banks create money our of nothing!

money from nothing

As always, the tactic used by the central banksters is to sew fear and misinformation in the vein hope that the majority of people will believe them... After all, the money from these banks has portraits of famous people on it.. They MUST be trustworthy, right?

One of the favourite tactics of the banksters is to claim that cryptocurrency is a scam or pyramid scheme - such as was claimed by JP Morgan's CEO Jamie Dimon not long ago. There are so many problems with that claim that it's hard to know where to start. I suggest reading through my recent post that gives background on how the entire financial system operated by central banks is itself entirely based on fraud.

A 'pyramid scheme', according to the definition used by UK police is one where the growth of the system depends on new members continually coming in and depositing new funds. In other words, if no-one new joins then the scheme collapses and the system itself has no utility beyond just being a money generator for the scheme's operators and early adopters. A cryptocurrency has inherent utility and value - it can be used as a trading token regardless of whether new users buy into it or not, so it is therefore not a pyramid scheme.

To claim that cryptocurrencies are scams because they make money out of 'nothing' is the most absurd idea a central banker could make, since THEIR FIAT CURRENCY IS BACKED BY NOTHING and is made from nothing! The hypocrisy is so thick it can be cut by a knife!

Crypto Coin Mastery covered the story today, citing the russian news site rbc.

Bitcoin apparently had a dip in price and then recovered to reach an all time high (currently around $4900).

It's funny how these shitty crypto news sites use my (any everyone else's) images without giving credit.

Are you talking about the flag with bitcoin on top of it? That has been used by maybe 100+ sites today alone. I can see it was used by another website in July this year.

Yep. They can use it as long as they give credit to the author of the image.

How would they know who the author was? I would have no idea.

Well, you can't just grab images off of Google and think its ok to use them without doing proper research.

I have had images I have made be used on other websites and in one case they even claimed to own the copyright. I just accept that the internet is a space for sharing and that trying to control 'copyright' in such a place is a fool's errand.
How would the proper research have led them to you as author? I have no idea.

Several major crypto news websites have used my images with credit. They always link the source at the bottom or top of the article. This is standard procedure on Steemit and just about any other publication.

specially after Putin talking to vitalik and buying lots of ETH. Ban what you want, governments and banks, after all, when shit hits the fan, people won't care anymore and buy crypto where ever they can in order to safe their values. :) thanks for the post

IMO all such moves are just attempts to increase personal wealth and the gap between rich and poor - nothing more.

agree. thats why I'm so positive about crypto. make the world a bit a fairer place

yeah. and i hope and work to balance it a bit. haha.. i just want the poor to be rich enough to enjoy life. may the rich still have their helicopters, but maybe just two instead of seven...

I wonder what Russia will be gaining by this move...

empire builders typically want control and to remove power from possible opponents. possible opponents in empires include 'their own people'.

Yes, the hypocrisy can be alarming, to say the least.

Well like when NYC created a regulated crypto exchange policy it was like the wealthy 1% of NYC saying, "This is shady and profitable... that is all we know about cyrptocurrency... but we are the whales here. It is now our shady , profitable business." Then the government officals on the board all resigned in less than a year and opened privately owned consulting firms to help crypto exchanges to become approved by the new regulations. They don't care if it is a 'scam' they only care if it is NOT THEIR SCAM people are investing in. lol

I love this... I am pretty new to steemit but I have not see this advertising post like this before. I'm not against it but couldn't you also make a comment? Or is this an automated post of some kind?

Yes, well put. You had me with your title.. very tricky and entertaining. LOL Don't forget the US currency all states "in God we trust". So if you don't trust this picture of the american hero on the front then know we trust GOD.

Also banks are required to have less than 10% on reserves. So it is possible for them to lend out more than they have... saving and loans scandal in the 80s were great for this. Loan out more than you have, use the Federal reserve to back you up and if things go wrong use FDIC or Federal Reserve as insurance. Cryptcurrency has less corruption but it can ... no! WILL BE better than it is today. :-)

Yes, the entire financial system is based on fraud. It would not be difficult to make something better - even just using pebbles is better.
The main problem with cryptocurrency is it's reliance on technology and that the technology is itself typically made using slave labour and minerals from literal child slave mines.

This makes sense since Putin apparently stated they are planning to issue an official "CryptoRuble".
