Great post, you explained this well, and I agree that Platforms could be an overall better ROI. Only if the DAO would have succeeded and not been hacked. The concept was brilliant.

Yeah TheDAO was a freaking amazing idea... I'm glad that we discovered that smart contracts need to be built more robustly but it is sad at what it cost us. And thank you for the compliment :)
