Why I'm bullish on Modum (MOD)

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

INTRODUCTION

MOD is currently a supply-chain and logistics solution for the $1.12 Trillion pharmaceuticals market. It safely monitors medicines and drugs during shipment, while reducing costs per shipment by 60%. Just in EU alone last year, there were 200 million shipments of pharma products and the team is currently in negotiations with big pharma giants in the UK/France/Germany/Turkey and Vietnam. MODUM has profit sharing and voting tokens. Dividends to be issued in ETH on quarterly basis.

TEAM/AWARDS

Pascal Degen - co-founder of MODUM is also head of logistics at Novartis AG ($216 billion pharma giant)

Heinrich Zetlmayer - advisor, IBM's head of supply chain and operations services.

Swiss team / engineering. MODUM won first place in the Future and Emerging Technologies vertical of the Kickstart Accelerator 2016, out of 850 startups from 40 countries.

CURRENT SITUATION

MOD has a product already used by pharmaceutical companies. Recently, December 30, 2017, they announced their partnership with a $ 5 billion revenue company. The partner's name has not been revealed yet; However, it is expected to be announced in Q1 2018. There has been speculation that this company could be Novartis, a staple in the pharmaceutical industry. If this partnership succeeds, MOD will gain credibility in a fine market, which ultimately results in a "monopoly-like" control.

There have been new government regulations that impose on these pharmaceutical companies responsibility for the quality of their products. MOD acts as an intermediary to fulfill these provisions during the logistics period.

I find that MOD has a real world use of the case, which will be crucial to the growing adoption of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain.

The price has consolidated after the news and $ 6 appears to be the established support. Overall, this is a great purchase right now.

STAKING

Okay, so every other coin pays dividends in their coin or another (like NEO's GAS). ARK pays out 10% ROI yearly in ARK. ETH moving to PoS would give you ETH. IF there was a ever a "crypto market crash" (which I don't believe there will be one as massive as people make it out to possibly be), those "dividends" of crypto may be worth very little, and you some could never get back what they paid in fiat for those coins.

But you know what MOD pays out? dividends of their profits, in crypto. So if one ETH were to ever fall to say, $100 (god forbid), you ETH would be worth probably less than what most of you reading bought in at. your ETH staking rewards would be fractions of cheaper ETH. But you get the same amount fiat-wise with MOD no matter what, provided they make profits (which if they succeed in their 4 year roadmap, the current token price is a STEAL, and $10 thousand could be enough to retire on by 2022, in MY opinion, but more on that later). SO if ETH did fall to $100, and you held 100 MOD, and they paid say, $10 per coin in dividends (something i'm not expecting myself before the end of 2018) you would receive 10 ETH in the address you MOD is attached to per year ($1000). if ETH was worth $10,000 instead, and you held 100 MOD, paying $10 a year per token, you'd get 0.1 ETH.

I read they pay out quarterly on the dividends, you talk about yearly. You got some source backing this up?
