On my recent travels I commented to a fella about the crass hypertext that come with a simple google search. He said it was that was because I didn't have adblocer installed. Ok, I took his point but my issue was the trash find results that comes to a clean Virgin browser for the first time. google's algo is heavily biased and points you in google's preferences. My point is that few users get past the first page of search. Depending on what I'm searching for I use different search engines. duckduckgo and gigablast give far flung results and go galaxy wide from a tor browser. If you ever run Noscript in your browser it is a shocking way to fathom the severity of Pushing and Trawling going on. HG Wells writings "The World Brain" is good comment on the subject.
