I see your point; a mission statement coin to gather around.
Looks to me like the future will be something like apps, powered by smart blockchains, built to organize community, adapt technically, easily scaled and change over time (EOS?).

One of the realities of HEMP is it would be a huge market (if not suppressed by petroleum) and any token-based app would need to scale with it.

So what is the APP exactly?
I don't really look at coins that don't have an app associated with them; it's the current 2017 standard, and makes a blockchain relevant for the future...

I can imagine it might collect stats on crops, and perhaps catalog a seedbank?
But we don't necessarily need blockchains to do that, except it would rule out monkey business by big pharma perhaps. And big oil. Over time. Hopefully, lots of time.

Or what if it facilitates a marketplace? This might make sense, where laws make it legal. But not where laws rule out associating transactions with a given blockchain.

In some ways, it's really nice to use ETH or BTC and just send over an amount; and it's completely anonymous as far as what changed hands as far as a product...

I spend a lot of time looking at EOS, because I expect to smell 100 flowers bloom, and it's under $1 right now ;-)
