In today's live episode of Savage Cash, I present the failings of Coinbase on the day it launches Bitcoin Cash as a purchasable Cryptocurrency.

I go on to present the gamechanging Cryptocurrency that will kill off Coinbase, and why! This promises to be one of the blockbusters of 2018!

Another great post Dad, I love Ethos!

Suppokid FTW!

Thanks son! <3

Love the care you have for your son Suppo! This is love man! Thanks for sharing this great example among your helping of people around the world in Crypto!

Cute family! You guys inspire me.

Probably one of the best Crypto Commentators out there. The BBC's mantra of inform, educate and entertain should be the standard. This kid hits them all.

Thanks v m!

This is so true!! :D
I have been using coinbase for the last couple months, because there is no "better" alternative for me. Its really easy to get started with coinbase, but the fees.. yeah, let's not talk about that. I'm invested in ETHOS like you, and i belive in ETHOS to be the number 1 gateway for Crypto/FIAT. I'm praying for Shingo and his team to create the best platform!

A quick comment on the video.. - Great video, with a lot of great information. Keep up the good work, you are doing great! :)

@suppoman Smash those likes! Best wishes and Happy Holidays.

I hate the Coinbase, no way to switch betwee and high fees really sucks.

Is Ethos paying you to promote that platform? You keep acting like it is going to be amazing but it isn't out and I'm not so sure it is going to run on Ethereum properly since the network is so bogged down.

No, I invested in this at ICO because I saw the incredible potential - but it's become a bigger and better value proposition since they rebranded to Ethos.

nice post with clarification

I prefer to use bittrex or binance for traiding

Ethos will destroy Coinbase. Cryptocurrency decentralisation taking over for the good.

your are absolutely right,, I was using coinbase before, but now I dont use it anymore,, because sometimes there are lots of promissing new digital currencies and there are by this time only 4 coins on coinbase,, so this is another weak point.
and there are lots of alternatives of coinbase for sure

I totally agree Supoman that Bittrex exchange is totally rubbish.
The trading interface is just passable, lags all the time I think intentionally when markets are surging sometimes they lock you out so that you lose a trade and they gain with your loss, I've seen price manipulation which could only have been done internally and they steal funds in the way of deposits that don't quite reach the minimum level before they credit them to your account. I have lost $350 worth of deposits in the last few months, multiple support tickets opened with supporting evidence of confirmed transactions to Bittrex accounts from the block chains, all gone unanswered except for one directing me to their FAQ page.
I'm also moving all my crypto assets to Binance i'm just dreading the extortionate withdrawal fees Bittrex charge onto top of the transaction fees. I too invested in Ethos on your in depth analysis a few weeks back and i'm glad I did. I can't wait for their wallet. thanks Supoman.

I don't trust coinbase since the us government got tax information on coinbase users.

Coinbase does have high transaction fee. You can use Gdax to avoid transaction fees. You can either deposit cash or BTC/ETH/LTC to Gdax and use Gdax to send your coins to a some other platform. Besides, by using Gdax, you can set limit by so that you don't need to look at the stats all the time.

Cool info. I got caught up in the bitcoin cash debacle on coinbase last night. It was pretty awful

from a technical point of view, coinbase is worse than its major competitors

I used Coinbase when I was starting because of the learning curve to use software wallets and keeping private keys safe can be quite a problem for a cryptonoob. Luckily with time I ditched online wallets completely and I'm very happy to have much more control of my own coins.
On the BTC vs BCH dispute I don't care who gets to be recognized as the "true Bitcoin" because well... STEEM is the future!

Thank for sharing @mbare

What is interesting is that Coinbase is part owned by NYSE. I think we will get more options in 2018. :) Good Video

Gosh, I opened an account in Coinbase and started trading. I think I will have to look out for the alternatives now :/

Thanks for getting me involved with BQX when it was still under $1!

Suppoman! Take a look at Appics ICO! Will be like Instagram that pays creators and creatives for posting videos and pictures. The Steemit CEO is advisor on it. Might want to take a look. P.s I am US Ambassador for Appics ;)

@suppoman, you suggested etherdelta, ETHERDELTA has been compromised! Please be careful anyone trading on etherdelta!

Thank you for the informative video though, I have had a love hate with coinbase for a while now.

I was reading today about how people are successfully hacking into coinbase accounts with two factor authentication enabled. Supposedly hackers only need your phone number and your account to intercept the two factor message before it reaches your phone...

However, I did notice that coinbase is now doing a three step authentication.... first a phone message and then an email confirmation.

It will be interesting to see whether Ethos can actually deliver and what bureaucratic problems they will face. It will be a long and rocky road. Can't wait to say goodbye to Coinbase though.
