This is understated in crypto really. Those in the know didn't suddenly change their opinions, they've known Ripple is just another shitcoin and no amount of pump and dump can change that. I love the idea for a proper micropayments based crypto but Ripple and Stellar are surrounded in too much controversy to win my trust, I'm going to stay far away for now.

controversy is not always a bad thing :) and yes most big guys in the scene don't change their opinions. but the big mass keeps shifting to whoever is in the "right" at that moment and who is in line with the price movement. Everyone is always going to say, "I was right", just at different moments ;)
