Yes I did, well sort of

I enjoy writing comedy (at least attempts at comedy), although prior to this I've only played hashtag games on twitter.

I've wanted to write longer form comedy for a while but could never both with jumping through the hoops to get myself established on buzzfeed or cracked, not too sure if I have enough talent there, but hopefully my stuff isn't too bad.

Steemit was probably the second cryptocurrency I ran into as I just started investing in this sector. Given my interests it was a natural fit and I decided to throw a decent amount of money here. Another use for powering up that is often overlooked is that it gives potential content creators the ability to expedite the career on the platform directly and get noticed quicker.

Of course I did deem Steem to be undervalued at the time and it rose shortly after I finished filling out my position. While that was fortunate, I'm now in an awkward position of being stuck somewhere between an investor and content creator. I'm acutely aware that my posts are overvalued due to my stake, and try to compensate by toning down posting frequency to leave more of the rewards pool to others.

interesting. thanks for answering....I did look at your wallet, and wow, amazing.

well thank you
but yeah aside from broadly deeming Steem to be undervalued, that part was mostly just luck
I honestly enjoy using the platform and writing comedy
I suppose for an investor my size it's borderline not worth posting anything if I didn't actually enjoy it. I hope at least some people find them entertaining

I am definitely among those "some people" that find your post entertaining.

And, just like you, I enter Steemit as an investor. It was one of several recommendations by the investment newsletter "Palm Beach Confidential" from the Palm Beach Research Group.
I bought most of my Steam Powers at an average price of 13 cents.

And now, like you, I am both an investor and a contributor.

oh cool, I didn't know that. So, the investment advisor suggested Steem? Interesting.

Yes, and over time they have recommended Bitcoin, Monero, Peer Plays, Lykke, Steem and Dash.

ahh cool, and what a great investment it's turned out to have been
followed :)

Writing is my main disease, so obviously this coin has immense utility for me.
