Why not do both? :)

I have done both for years. One doesn't compare to the other. Two different mechanisms. Forex is a tool for institutions. Cryptocurrency is for the people. You can make money in both but the red tape for Forex is a mess. Let's not even mention how Dodd-Frank ruined it for US retail traders. I'm American, I traded overseas until they pressed every reputable broker into compliance, even with off shore branches. Every established broker I got into off shore despite being an American just had horrible service or price feed, and very little recourse when problems arise. I'll stick with the crypto. Thanks for asking.

Forex trading for Americans is horrible because you've regulated your domestic industry into submission and blocked citizens from trading with even reputable overseas regulated brokers.

The stupid thing is that it actually just encourages Americans to trade with unregulated brokers based in central America. It's a joke.
