I think it is a positive thing for sure if the US and other governments decide to do some regulations. MAny people have been scammed by fake ICO's and insecure exchanges in the wild west world of crypto as it has been. More assurance that people won't lose everything because the exchange got hacked will bring floods more people into the crypto market who have been watching from the sidelines.
