Something I hear many entrepreneurs say in terms of dealing with stress is somewhat similar to something you said in terms of volatility you faced as a child kind of puts into focus it's only money and technically you don't lose anything until you sell.

Something I often hear entrepreneurs say is they either tell themselves they are going to die some day or as morbid as it sounds they imagine that their wife or child just died.

That kind of puts into focus that while money is important in the grand scheme of things it doesn't mean shit.
