  • The root chain has a significance of larger portion over 50% of hash power. Over the entire power over the hash power. This prevents double spend attack with a malicious miner that needs to have 50%*50%=25% power to perform an attack.

The network usage of the system of QuarkChain has several blockchain miners or shards that have one root in the blockchain. Every blockchain offers different incentives and difficulties. The miners are able to choose the blockchain for the optimal price of the hash powers. An open market economic model has been creates by this. The blockchain sellers for bring good and earning rewards. The miners are basically the buyers of hash power in order to have currency. It is desirable for the marketing model which has been designed with the features that ensure the parties for the market pursues with the own interests and the collective behaviors of the parties will be benefitted by all.

Consensus Algorithm

It protects the transactions for the root chain and it shards the systems for the QuarkChain Network. It runs through the following consensus algorithm:

  • The root chain runs through the PoW algorithm with the help of crypto coins Bitcoin and Ethereum. It represents a couple of forks happening through the root chain. The forks have the longest length that has the ability to survive through the difficulty.

  • The shards run through a consensus root chain following the first PoW algorithm. Both of the forks have a shard for determining the survival of forks with a node to compare with the corresponding root chains before making any comparison into the forks. The forks have a longer root chain that the forks will survive for no matter how longer another fork might be. This makes the consensus algorithm with a double spending attacker that needs to create the minority of blocks to revert the transactions and creating another longer root chain fork that includes the minor block headers as well.

QuarkChain has developed its goal as a blockchain that needs to check the ability to extend the scalability for over 1 million transactions per second or TPS. Based on the project, it works without making a comparison on the security and decentralization. This makes the service to be adoptable among the clients.
