Salut, tout le monde!

This post is a continuation of my previous post, featuring simplified descriptions of the top 20 cryptocurrencies (take a look here if you missed it). Next up are the top 15 tokens. If you have feedback on these descriptions or any corrections you would like to contribute, reply below and I will incorporate the feedback.

EOS is a smart contract-enabled platform for hosting decentralized applications. The EOS token has its own blockchain, and smart contracts and transactions are offered in parallel, rather than sequentially.

2. TRON (TRX)

TRON is a decentralized smart contract platform that connects entertainment creators to users without a middleman. The primary goal of the platform is to make entertainment universally accessible without using companies like YouTube, Apple, or Google. TRON supports Bitcoin and other blockchains.

3. Tether (USDT)

Tether is a digital currency offering a 1-1 exchange rate with fiat currency. The company states that Tether coins are backed by real money, but that information has not been verified with publicly-released bank audits, so proceed with caution.

4. VeChain (VEN)

VeChain is an inventory tracking system and business platform focused on improving the business ecosystem using gateway services, third-party cooperation services, and distributed data storage.

5. ICON (ICX)

6. OmiseGO (OMG)

Binance (short for Binary Finance) is a Chinese digital exchange focused on processing speeds and liquidity. Users receive discounts for paying with the Binance Coin.

8. DigixDAO (DGD)

DigixDAO is a marketplace for Gold Bullion. With DigixDAO, gold can be purchased on Ethereum with Ether, Litecoins, Bitcoins, and Dogecoins.

9. Populous (PPT)

Populous is a platform aiming to connect business owners and buyers, bypassing middlemen. Populous provides an environment for investors and sellers to trade invoices globally.

10. Maker (MKR)

Maker is an Ethereum-based smart contract platform that stabilizes the value of Dai through Collateralized Debt Positions, autonomous feedback mechanisms, and incentivized external actors.

11. RChain (RHOC)

RChain is a blockchain applications platform that provides high transaction speeds, scalability, and smart contract support on independent networks and blockchains (when necessary). RChain is powered by the Rho Virtual Machine.

12. Aeternity (AE)

Aeternity is a smart contract platform created to solve blockchain speed and governance issues, while also processing transactions off the blockchain. The blockchain is used to choose a winner in disputes.

13. Status (SNT)

Status is a browser and messaging platform that provides a user-friendly interface for Ethereum applications.

14. Augur (REP)

Augur is a platform for forecasting and making wagers on decentralized predictions (real-world events). Augur uses predictions for their “wisdom of the crowd” search engine.

Hi there

Thx for another list. Valuable stuff.

How have you been doing lately? Thanks for engaging with my posts lately. I appreciate.

Im trying to build a group of like-minded people and I would like to keep in touch with you and support each other on steemit.

So since we were already following each other, then please let me suggest reading this post:

For many new players those kind of contests are great way to start.

Take care, Piotr

Sorry for 2 separate posts in one topic.

I just noticed that you still really have very little steam power. Try to consider powering up.

I've been following many new members of this community and @achim303 wrote today quite a good post which would explain "Why do we need steem power?"
