...another income stream is linking your BTC address for the Byteball airdrop. You get .0625 GBYTE($46.31 as of this writing) for every 1 BTC you have during the snapshot. Usually the Byteball distribution is held every Full Moon... about once a month. I make around $5000 worth of Byteball's every full moon and you can hold them or trade them on Bittrex. It takes a little bit of work to download the wallet and link your BTC address, but it's really worth it if you have 20+ BTC laying around.
Does this work on secure wallets too? I like the sound of what your saying but holding substantial amounts of bitcoin in a hot wallet would give me PTSD.
Yes, you control the private keys. I use my Nano S. Send the coins to a BTC address that you control. Download the Byteball software(takes a bit to sync the blockchain). Click "Chat" once the blockchain is synced and send a message to the transition bot (doesn't matter what you type) and the bot will reply asking you to prove ownership of your coins by either sending a small amount from the BTC address that you control or signing a message verifying that the coins are yours.
I will just sweep my BTC into my Nano S address before the airdrop and wait until the snapshot is taken before moving them back out. It takes a few hours after the airdrop for the byteball's to hit your wallet. HODL or trade them.
Thanks for the info, I usually stay on top of things but this is a first for me. If you don't mind I have some follow up questions: Can it scan the exodus wallet? Why can't it scan the ledger nano wallet if it is plugged in?
Thanks a bunch, followed.
