On one hand it seems to be a wonderful time to get into crypto, but on the other, the world appears to be in the midst of a a full on FOMO charge. Perhaps I'm part of that bandwagon. Oh yeah, plus it's the middle of a christmas holiday. So exchanges will be currently understaffed and over-worked. Crazy times.
I'm waiting to get verified on a couple of exchanges and it's been two whole days! I know, I know. I'm impatient as I watch things scrambling back up to the heights they were last week. Sellers selling coins in my local fiat currency on localbitcoins.com are asking astronomical amounts and/or require quite high minimum purchases. I understand that they're taking risks dealing with unknowns who might be using stolen cards, or might suffer charge backs, as well I'm guessing that those rates they charge are set when they put up the ads and aren't adjusted realtime.
Sigh. I have Rational Cat sitting on one of my hands as I type this now, not too subtle about crossing her paws over mine... er, my hand. Is she trying to tell me I should be patient? Should I relax?
