EOS is issuing 2,000,000 token everyday and they have been through only a little over half of total supply. I would say that it has run up quiet a bit and you should wait (or buy in small quantities over next 6 months). It is not going to run away due to inflation. But at some point, when token distribution ends and we have more progress on platform, EOS is a far better play than Ethereum.
