My guideline regarding your first point is that I'm mostly interested in cryptos that have good tech or a huge potential user base associated with them.
So many coins try to just make money payment better, and while I have some problems with bitcoin, bitcoin just has the largest network and so they'll all never catch up.

Number of cryptos by letter? What's the point of that? :^)
