As mentioned in our Core Wallet v3.1.0 release timeline in an earlier post, we advise you to execute some steps before March 29th to make the most out of our new zPoS which will be activated on April 7th.
Current zPIV will not be lost, so do not worry about that. Current zPIV will not be able to make use of our new zPoS (staking of zPIV) and they cannot be backed up with a deterministic seed. In order to make full use of our new coming features you will need to mint new zPIV after zPoS will be activated.
In short: In order to prepare for zPoS (coming online on April 7th), we suggest the following:
- Disable automint.
- Converting any existing zPIV back to PIV before the March 29th.
