Kraken charges 60£ for a withdrawal of GBP according to their policies. I have no idea, why the fees are so high. I live in Germany and have a Kraken account. When I withdraw EUR to my bank account, the Kraken fees are only 0,09 EUR. That is nothing. The money arrives at my bank account within 3 to 4 hours. No additional fees from my bank.

Yes, I saw that Euros are much cheaper - I don't know why either. I imagine it might be possible for me to withdraw to Euros and deal with the exchange fee and maybe get a better result, but I don't know what my bank would charge in that case to do the conversion from Euros to GBP.
