Stripe is ending support for bitcoin payments on April 23
Payments platform Stripe will stop supporting bitcoin in April, citing the cryptocurrency’s volatility and long transaction times, among other things. It’s a logical decision, but one likely to anger the easily provoked crypto-crowd.

South Korea Releases Official Guidelines for Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Banks
The South Korean government has officially released two sets of previously promised guidelines that specify cryptocurrency regulatory measures. In addition to details of the new real-name system to end anonymous trading of cryptocurrencies, the government also published its anti-money laundering guidelines for banks providing services to cryptocurrency exchanges.

Very happy to see the growth in Steem, as it truly deserves a lot of the recognition it is getting now. Also, very happy to see Bitcoin adapting to the times and delivering on what it should be able to accomplish per its white paper. Great post!
We saw how Steem is doing so well today and we saw it up 35% on Coinmarketcap.com at one point. Talking about exchanges, just out of curiosity, the value of our wallets in USD is the average of all the exchanges or just certain ones? Just something we noticed and was trying to calculate against how much Steem we have compared to the price on Coinmarketcap.com. If anyone else can answer this part from @penguinpablo, please feel free to reply. Three is not a crowd in this space. :)
It is based on the average Steem price of the last 3.5 days as provided by the Steem witnesses.
