A New Way for Small Business to Sell & Monetize Customer Data

Big data. We hear how important this to major enterprises all the time, particularly among tech companies. Indeed selling customer data in one form or another is one of the biggest money makers for giants like Google, Facebook, and Twitter. But outside of big businesses who have economies of scale who have data departments (like SAP for example), most smaller businesses have turned a blind eye to these as they don't want to bother hiring data analysts to gather, interpret, buy or sell customer data. Let's face it: why would most companies want to have a data analyst on staff? This is where RepuX comes in.

RepuX

In a nutshell, RepuX is two things

First, RepuX is a marketplace for small to medium-size businesses (e.g. e-commerce stores, gaming websites) to sell customer data directly to developers without needing to have a data analyst nor blockchain expertise themselves. Developers buy data from these businesses on these marketplace from small to medium size businesses. Once the developers and analysts are done gathering and interpreting customer data, the small businesses can then buy the data back from the developer should they choose to do so to help grow their businesses. A good portion of the time however, developers end up selling this data to much larger enterprises who aren't using the RepuX platform, whom have much deeper pockets.

This allows the small business to monetize their data - something that wasn't feasible for them to do previously. It allows them to buy back their data to improve their business. And larger enterprises and data analytics company benefit from it as well. It's a win-win-win.

Take for example an ecommerce store doing $1 million in sales annually. Previously their data was going to waste. Wasn't being used outside of the company's own operations in anyway. Large enterprise e-commerce companies like walmart & best buy are able to crunch all their data to figure out sales, discounting & promotion strategies. But the issue is the data that they have may not be as applicable to smaller e-commerce stores. Whether you're doing economic forecasts, or you're building websites for upcoming e-commerce stores (where it pays to know the most effective way to sell online), data is important. And if they're looking to generate the most accurate information for their clients to improve their ROI, they need to gather data from small businesses as well.

Secondly, RepuX has an enterprise protocol developers can use to write apps. These apps (such as plug-ins for an e-commerce website), will help small to medium size businesses accurately and effectively gather necessary data which can then be sold on the marketpalce.

Unlike most ICO's, RepuX is actually backed by a working product - you don't need to wait 3 years for them to start developing it. They also have a highly technical & detailed whitepaper that I would strongly recommend checked out before you consider investing.

RepuX currently has a pre-sale that is live now, and their main sale starts March 6th
