the form is for registering to get your free 75 tokens. I'm sure you'll get emails from them but of course you'd want to right ? so you know what's going on.
you need a wallet which supports ERC 20 TOKENS (ethereum tokens) so either something like myetherwallet.com or coinomi on android, both fine. I would recommend myetherwallet if you use a pc
then you add a custom token with the instruction on Authorship's site.
you add custom token in your (myetherwallet) once you have set it up and SAFELY STORED YOUR BACK UP KEY then when the ICO is finished the contract will allocate to the ethereum address you give them on the form !!
Simple as 1,2,3 and you never know...if the token goes to $10 as they hope you just got your self $750 free :) nothing to lose except opportunity

Yes, questions... sorry about that :-) I usually comment on your posts and others, but are times when we rookies even the experienced ones need answers. I am sure that you are kind of tired to answer to the same questions. I will try to make some articles on my online blog with some of this rookie problems as i do with others things i share there, just to help others too.

I did get the e-mails and even went on twitter. On facebook they disabled my account because i haven't sent my picture. And i will not send it. They became so crazy with this things... i have my personal fb but needed one for crypto world.
It seems that i will not have one... whatever. fb can disappear from my point of view. They ask too many information for nothing.
I'm a pc user so if exodus is not ok i will go to myetherwallet.

I probably would still mention it if there were no referral programs. I'm only interested in the good stuff and I share what I think is relevant. I trust my own judgement. It's my reputation on the line, so if it turned out to be rubbish, it would be me who loses out..
I think ATS and Authorship have a bright future and like all interesting / disruptive BC projects I wish them well. I probably will publish (at least 1) book with them... hope it all works out for you ! I'm happy to answer questions :)

After what i read there, as i said in my post, i like those two it guys with their already 2 websites on that are trying to do that. It sounds nice like others too, but it could have a strong base for a start.
Only one problem I can think of about Authorship Token (ATS) and that is "AMAZON".
How are they going to get authors who have not already heard that they can publish their e-book on Amazon?
And Amazon gives 70% commission and other priviliges to authors who publish their books exclusively on Amazon. How many authors will forego Amazon to sell their e-books on the ATS bookstore? Will they have a Kindle book reader, or will they be PDF? The reader can manipulate a Kindle book to choose several size fonts. Will they be able to manipulate the size fonts on however these books will be read?
How many readers will an author find on the ATS world, who will bother to buy ATS to pay for the books, and which they have to pay with Ethereum?
As an author, I wish ATS good luck.

all good questions. @rejuvenation. They are big players in the industry already and know what they're doing.. or at least what they're trying to achieve. their model is all about connecting authors to publishers to translators to readers..

this is a legitimate offering from Authorship. They are keen to attract the right people (those already interested in crypto). It's also a legitimate recommendation by me. I think it's a good project idea and I'm being totally open about the fact that I'm providing referrals. It's a win / win / win situation so I can see no harm in that.

I think it's great that it's a no strings free token giveaway. If they become valuable through success of the platform and exchange, then it will have been an easy lunch. If they reach $10 as they imagine it would be a month of very nice free lunches with champagne. Actually the platform is a really interesting one and I'm hoping to publish a book on it ! you can set up the token contract before the 14th and they will do a coin drop. the instructions are really easy if you are using myetherwallet
I am going to look into the contract aspect as well. It looks as though i could choose to publish a translated version of a book. The whole idea is an interesting one.
I think the translation aspect of it is really interesting.. although with many important aspects of an idea vulnerable to being lost in translation I wonder how translators will be rated or will it be a case of recommendations, portfolio.. I mean how do you know a translator is any good if you don't speak the language your work is being translated into ??? anyway It will be an interesting project and one we should keep our eyes open for !

It's really easy to use and it's simple to add Ether tokens (so many new tokens are ERC20 Tokens) on the ethereum blockchain.
Instructions
All you do is follow Authorships instructions on their website to add their token (ATS) to myetherwallet. There is an address, a ticker (ATS) and a number of decimal places to add in the fields. Once you've set up a wallet and BACKED UP your keystore safely.... then login & go to add custom token & ! enjoy your 75 free tokens :) be quick though , those 1million free tokens will get gobbled up soon
