True but.. But most people don't have that big money to lock away for very long, which they may or may not get back depending on the future of the coin,which no one can tell for sure.. So the risk remains the risk.. It is a two way thing , you win or you loose , wether u go short or long

This is true, but would really be hard for investors especially newbies whom coins have dumped on and are still praying hard to recover at least their capital as they have little or no well withal to buy some more coins
But can it be said that we are already in the "lows of lows"... Have we seen the effect of the hardfork rumour (which might drive prices down) yet?
