As this is my is my debut Steemit post, I will try and keep it real short and simple.
I delved into the Crypto world at a time when I was damn broke and was privy to little financial support from friends and family. At this point, even as I understood so little about cryptocurrency, there was this burning desire in me to invest because I just want to be fully absorbed into the system.
Little did I know that everything is a gradual process and of course, one needs to humbly submit oneself to tutelage. This I learnt the hard and non palatable way.
I accosted so many peeps to lend me money to invest assuring them that I will pay back in a short while. This was because I considered myself sufficiently versed in cryptocurrency dealings based on the videos I watched and some texts I read. Alas! I was basking in self delusion. And luckily for me, no one made any sense of what I wanted to use money for, so my requests were bluntly rejected.
For the records, I was in college then and I did wrote some scholarship exams. Luckily, I got some windfall. About #150000, circa $400. As you might have guessed, I was damned impatient so I got scammed pure and sharp.
It was then it dawned on me that I needed a personal mentor, a teacher, someone to always look up to, an advisor to properly and hitchlessly succeed in cryptocurrency business and in every facets of life in general.
Well, for sure I got burnt but I did learn my lesson the hard way way.
Right now, I wouldn't call myself an expert crypto-wise but hey, you would be making a big mistake if you tagged me a nob.
Nevertheles, learning is a lifelong process that continues ad infinum. As such, I am open to learning and relearning and of course open to mentorship. The spirit to learn never dies; it blossoms everyday.
Thank you for taking your time to read a my story. This may not be really interesting but I promise to do better next time.
Till then, much love.
