Where to buy?
So I am currently sitting here staring at my monitor wanting to buy more Cryptocurrency... I am thinking of getting more Bitcoin... but I hate fees as much as all of you. I definitely want to save money and make smart decisions when investing. So... what is the best place to safely buy Bitcoin with lower fees other than Coinbase?
Stratis
Well as some of you may have noticed, I have pretty active when new to this whole crypto world, but then it all faded out but I remained invested. I was just not as active in the crypto world and continued doing my routine. Now that I am back into the crypto space and see my crypto wallet and see that I have tons of Stratis but the value has gone down significantly since the last time I saw it. Why the big drop? Do you guys think Stratis is still a good coin to remain invested in?
Steem
I see that since being back I was awarded SP and I redeemed it into my wallet, now where did that come from and how do I get more hahaha. Like a fat kid that got a taste of the delicious apple pie, now I want more... and need to know where it came from so I can serve myself some more!
You can try changelly, i believe they have steem and steem dollars as well and have lower fees :))

Where to buy?:
If I'm buying any amount of bitcoins, I personally prefer to use coinbase. The fee is 3.99%, which I don't mind paying as the exchange is popular at reputable. You could try localbitcoins but usually people on that website sell at a much higher price.
Stratis:
I would hold on to your Stratis as it is expected that today they are releasing Masternode.
Steem:
As a new user myself, I have purchased a small amount of SP myself as I believe in the Steemit platform. I can see Steemit become a big power and influential in the future.
Thank you so much!
Re: Where to buy
I just see that the current market price of Bitcoin is less about $20.00 than what coinbase is selling for and on top charging a fee. The cost of doing business I guess? I just hate to be overpriced for anything. I don't mind fees at all I just don't like overpricing for no reason.
Stratis:
I'll look into that now and see what that is...
Steem:
Oh yeah from the day I started using this platform I loved it. I should be more active ha.. It's so nice catching up with everyone on here too. Such a drama free environment.
Check out Gemini, Its cheaper than Coinbase. Deposits are fast and available right away for trading. Support is much better as well. https://gemini.com/ .
hi @thejohalfiles,
Gosh, I have so much to learn. Seems you really are up on all this. And you keep your answers in laymans terms (thank you).
I have made more Stan videos with more to come. During these he has gave advice on what to get, and yet i hear new things to get every hour it seems. I will check out Gemini.
Curious if you have ever heard of Laser.online?
Thanks again for your support

@thejohalfiles thank you for posting that great advice. I have been less than satisfied by Coinbase. I will give Gemini a try if it is available to US citizens.
I don't like any exchange that wants your SSN since I'm not a taxpayer and object to those who won't let you trade on their platform without the number of the beast, like Coinbase. People who are serious about their freedom don't look for the cheapest one, but the most private one.
Yeah true that is a big reason why I invested in crypto
Thank you! I will check that out today.
I believe this is due to the fact the price of Bitcoin fluctuates, sometimes quite rapidly. Also, the fees are to allow Coinbase as a company to operate - no income means no Coinbase.
On the other hand, if you hold any alternative cryptocurrencies you could achieve a far more accurate price.
Mindgeek, still interested in AoE? Add me on Steam then ;) Just see your post on my announcement!
True... good point.
Nice dear
