We all know about the top ten cryptocurrencies.
I am here here to enlighten you about BeanCash, formerly BitBean. This is a PoS (Proof of Stake) coin where you can earn additional Beans for Sprouting (Staking) the Beans that you have, It's around 57% APR.
use http://sproutingcalculator.com/ to calculate how much you can earn.
The transactions are lightning fast and the transaction fees are fractions of a cent (0.1-1 Bean).
The time of each block is 60 seconds (like Dogecoin) and the maximum size of each block is 20MB, this means that transactions can be confirmed in as little as 20 seconds.
The price has been fluctuating in the past few months between about 100-200 satoshi, with an all time high of around 270, which is between $0.01 and $0.03.
It seems to be on a trend where it stays in the low 100's for quite a while (a few weeks) and then jumps up to the 200's for a few days. It has done this since I have been watching it 3 different times over the course of about 3 months.
I have never seen it fall below 100 satoshi.
Here's my tactic... Buy in the low 100's, Hold and stake, then once above 200 I sell usually about 70% and then buy again once they dip back down.
Now as with all PoS Coins, to stake the coins your required to keep your wallet open for quite a while and start earning Beans.
I'm unable to keep my computer connected to the internet, so instead of keeping the coins on my pc I use a website called BTCPop.
There's always a chance of the website getting hacked, or closing down and you losing your coins.
This is a risk I'm willing to take.
All you need to do is create an account and deposit your Beans, within hours you will start accumulating your staking rewards.
BTCPop also has an Exchange for multiple coins, although the prices are much different than they are on say.. Bittrex.
I get and sell my Beans on Bittrex, but hold them on BTCPop.
