La la land of Crypto currencies
I will tell you the secret to getting rich on Wall Street. You try to be greedy when others are fearful. And you try to be fearful when others are greedy. –Warren Buffett
This past half year is exactly summarised by the above statement for the crypto world. With an impressive, mind blowing start of crypto highs the beginning of 2018, to the fall and now to a statue state of the crypto values, we all have seen, felt the blues and some how survived the doom.
Greedy investments, rarely turn out to be profitable, most of us, naive entrants of the crypto world have learnt it the hard way. But the big question hovering on our minds now is , what next? Has it all ended, were we too late in the race, can I ever be lucky to experience and grow into a bigger fish if not the whale. Or is crypto dead?
And we all know of too it isn’t a easy question to answer. Crypto definitely is not dead as it’s a technology and which will evolve as more virtualisation hits common markets . But as this technology is directly linked to economic system , it’s progress and validity is much more challenging as compared to any other high tech invention .
Crypto as technology is a break through for financial transactions. But crypto as defining a new economic system is definitely subjected to much more battles and storms.
So should one invest in crypto and why ?
As they say simple answer to this in the currenrt scenario is invest what you can afford to loose. Why invest because crypto definitely has the traits and potential to turn into something revolutionary and change centuries old system. Today’s economic system is not bad yet it has boundaries but it has trust.
Crypto on other hand is limitless and once overcomes the doubts of trust and recovery it’s usage will grow exponentially. The biggest challenge though would be how the value of crypto would be determined. As crypto value is not based on any gold reserve or tether so to say , value is questionable and that’s main the reason of its downfall. But that said even gold dosent have any reserve yet the price is determined by simple supply and demand mechanism . This simple logic is how bitcoin has risen to fame for its prices and demand in the dark world.
So there are many ifs and buts to invest or not to invest.
To summarise crypto has most traits to grow big so it’s a good calculated risk one should invest.
But the key is as all say invest what you can afford to loose.
Obviously, the next thought is invest in what ? Look forward for our next article for this!

Very nice
Good article
Appreciate the time and effort you put in the post, but I would like to point out one thing:
Value isnt questionable, thats the main reason institutional investors are looking forward to invest in it. Value will increase once we actually use it for transactions, the way it was meant to be. I'm looking forward to their lightening network upgrade, when it becomes usable by the mass. We can see an enormous boom once the mass can use it.
Fiat currency as such has no value, because the government and central banks say "It has value," and 1 dollar is equal to 1 dollar, so we believe in them. You can also not define the value of 1 dollar. Or even 1 rupee.
I do have a separate theory, and I'll come up with it soon. This appears to be a natural market cycle if we look at the previous charts.
And long periods of consolidation leads us to Moon. So lets wait and watch....
