Never sell low. It hardly ever works out even when you think you'll reinvest in a coin you think will be going up. Just tough out a drop in price and cash out when it is at least slightly above what you paid in.
If what you invested in can also be loaned in an exchange also do that during a down price. Even at a very small percentage it is better than getting nothing just hodling.
If having some spare money, buy in some EOS. I'm not sure what's it like for the short-term profit, but I'm sure for a long run, EOS is very potential. Think about Ethereum in 2016...
