Another video sharing platform is very much needed to challenge YouTube and make them answerable for all their secret and unlawful ways of operating the platform. Hopefully Viewly turns out to be a step in the right direction!
I see that viewly is an alpha, so they have a working product! When is their ICO or will they have one? I see potential by linking the viewly coin to some kind of monitization of the income stream from the platform.
At least they have a working alpha, which is more than I can say for many of these ICO that are out there. With a lot of these ICOs you fly by the seat of your pants, fingers crossed and hope for the best. Something tells me Viewly will be an under the radar kind of thing.

It's a fascinating project. I wonder how the server infrastructure will be paid for. Perhaps an inflation tax approach, like Steem uses? It's a great model.
Yeah. 15% of the Steem inflation goes to the witnesses, so probably similarly some amount would go to those who run the IPFS or Viewly nodes for this system. I'm speculating though, I haven't had time to look into it much yet.
