What is PoS?

Proof-of-stake (PoS) is a type of algorithm by which a cryptocurrency blockchain network aims to achieve distributed consensus. Unlike proof-of-work (PoW) based cryptocurrencies (such as bitcoin), where the algorithm rewards participants who solve complicated cryptographical puzzles in order to validate transactions and create new blocks (i.e. mining), in PoS-based cryptocurrencies the creator of the next block is chosen in a deterministic (pseudo-random) way, and the chance that an account is chosen depends on its wealth (i.e. the stake). In PoS cryptocurrencies the blocks are usually said to be forged (in the blacksmith sense of this word), or minted, rather than mined.
How to stack in Bitradio?
First thing you need to do is download, open and sync your wallet.

There are some rules about stacking. First your coin need to get "mature". On Bitrad.io forum you can read it takes 8h, but I noticed it takes about 10h. Maybe it's 8h after it will get 10 confirmation not 8h from when you can see transaction.
Anyway if you have your wallet opened and coins that are on same address for more then 8h you are stacking. And if you are lucky you can mint new coins. Every block you extract will give you 0.5 BRO.
You can check if everything is fine and you are stacking properly in 2 ways. First one is easy but not so precise.
- Put your mouse pointer on thunder on right-bottom corner. You will get something like that. I think its pretty clear and you don't need any more explanation.
- You need to open console, to do it go to help, debug window and then console and type getstakinginfo. It will give you more information. And more precise time, because expectedtime is in seconds so you can divide it by 60 to get minutes, then by another 60 to get time in hours and if you want you can divide it by 24 to get that time in days.

STOPThanks. I would buy jus to stack.. I read you weight was 284 and networkday was 284k... so that gave you a expected time of 1 day.
Current network weight is 580k, which I suppose means having 580 BRO for 1 day, which are 102 SBD. Well I don't think I would invest it, but good to know. Let's see if I get lucky with my 2 BRO.
