Hey all! I want to introduce you to CryptoStalk, an app I made to monitor live Twitter activity of popular Cryptocurrencies.
Let me briefly explain what CryptoStalk does, and who I envision it to be useful for.
What does CryptoStalk do?
The CryptoStalk server listens for Tweets that contain keywords like 'Bitcoin', 'BTC', 'Litecoin', 'LTC', etc. As the Tweets come in, the server sends the username and text of the Tweet to all browser clients, which are prepended to the page one after the next.
Features
As of the time of this post, CryptoStalk listens for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Monero Tweets. I may implement more in the future, so suggestions as to what to add are welcome.
If you click the 'Filters' text, you're presented with two text boxes. You can add filtered words and blocked words by typing them into their respective boxes and hitting Enter. Filtered words cancel out all Tweets that don't contain a filtered word. Blocked words cancel out all Tweets that contain a blocked word. You can have multiple filtered and blocked words at the same time, and simply click Reset to remove them and create a different setting.
Intended Users
CryptoStalk shows you live Tweet activity, so this app is best for people who want to know what's going on with Cryptocurrencies NOW. For example, I caught wind of the Vitalik death hoax while working on CryptoStalk because the Ethereum section blew up with RTs about that incident.
So, this app is best for day traders and journalists, but I think it can be good for anyone with Crypto assets, so they can stay ahead of market movements.
Enjoy!
I hope you enjoy this page as much as I do, and please don't hesitate to leave suggestions below!
edit:
Just after I published this post a bot already Tweeted about it. The circle of life!

Interesting, thanks for sharing.
My pleasure!
this is top banana, great to run on a second monitor while daytrading
you should focus next on how to filter those results. its still way too much data with lots of bullshit in it.
best would be combining it with analytics algorithms in relation to the prices shown from those twitter postings etc..
as well as a listing of all new development announcements related to crypto projects (new icos, new dapps etc...)
and as a 3rd isolated stream you need security related information related to hacks and stuff.
show this in an easy readable way and people will get real value from it.
idea is good but implementation is just sloppy if you leave it that way isolated.
i would also recommend you building different time frames for information to your data streams.
5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, year
edit: and dont forget to filter the languages. english should be main language for all 3 information streams. add other languages as alternative streams in the same manner.
Really good suggestions actually will implement when I get back to it
