Re “World’s First” ETP
As far as I’m aware, Amun’s HODL ETP is the World’s First Multi-Crypto ETP. That’s what sets it apart.
As you mentioned on the show, ETPs that track crypto already exist - there’s Bitcoin Tracker One and Ether Tracker One which are ETNs (Exchange Traded Notes) where the issuer is on the hook and has to be trusted (read: centralized). They promise to buy actual bitcoin / ethereum to back the shares and they track the price of the asset.
But all the existing ETPs are specific to a single crypto, so for something to come along and bundle them together and put a single share price on it, like a mutual fund, or, oh I don’t know... what do they call that in institutional terms,... EXCHANGE TRADED FUND then I’d agree with anyone who said this was newsworthy and raise that it was groundbreaking.

It's so hard to convince new people that the point of cryptocurrency has nothing to do with the fiat value. But when more and more capital controls kick in, they'll start seeing the light.
IMO not enough people are talking about the combined price of BCHABC and BCHSV compared to the pre-fork price. It was going down before the overall market drop. I think this is a serious problem. Everyone who speculated pre-fork that the combined value of the chains would be higher and essentially get them free money are likely to be disappointed. Have they all sold already or is there a cliff ahead when they finally realize this?
Great point about the prices in Venezuela in crypto. I could imagine even one standard - BTC. It wouldn't be too different than most exchanges that have BTC pairs with everything else. Everything is priced in satoshis. I'd like to see that on a real-life shelf.

Would be great to have ETPs in the US as well as it is what most are used to when thinking of investing in assets. It provides a way for access without being too concerned about thr things thay are making adoption more difficult like security and interface.
The department store that has crypto as prices will be in a world that has AR (Augmented Reality). Customers are naturally expected to have a smartphone on them, so all the store has to do is print labels with a QR code and the crypto price. If they need translation, they bring out their phone — and no, it’s not what you think. They don’t take a QR snapshot and wait for a price. They just open their pricing app and it uses the camera and superimposes live price conversions in whatever alternative currency the store accepts. The store could provide the app with specials and coupons as a loyalty thing and pop ups when they turn certain aisles.

Will the price go below 250 for the bch forks? A part of me hopes they don't unless bitcoin is the clear beneficiary.
My target price pre-fork was about $180. It's not looking good right now for BCH.
I think I need a small crypto break. Now that BTC is under 5k I'm ready to hibernate. I may stay away and come back sometime after the new year. This drop is bad for me if I stay glued to the market.

I was thinking about adoption when I was watching this episode. Coindesk Crypto Economics-Explorer shows that EOS is actually doing better if you also consider time dimension. Ethereum is around 3 times older and yet it did not perform as good as EOS did in the last months.
Very interesting facts on all this. I have mixed feelings on Roger Ver and his projects. I am going to wait a few weeks before I make a personal opinion on that. Thanks for sharing.
