Fair point. It is how I've been making gains in the crypto market recently. Maybe I'm thinking more about the huge pump and dumps for massive short term gains. Cryptocurrencies and the blockchain are trying to offer an alternative to using financial institutions that line the pockets of the mega rich, yet it's those same people able to manipulate the space!

That's just the free market. The real danger in in the kinds of socialist policies that aim to protect people from their own mistakes through regulation, but shut the door for small investors at the same time. That and money printing by central banks, again to support socialist policies.
Don't blame the rich, take responsibility for yourself.
