First of all, welcome! Welcome to my potentially explosive, potentially disastrous trek deep into the world of trading cryptocurrency.
I'm nearly 30 and at a time in my life where I've settled into my solid job as a Software Engineer, I have a new family and things are pretty comfortable. So I'm after a new challenge! Not to become a billionaire...although that might be nice...not even to become a millionaire. If I can make enough extra cash each year to take my family away for a sweet holiday, then I'll be a happy man.
So let's get this straight, I know diddly squat about trading cryptocurrencies, stocks, shares, assets...I was a beast at trading football stickers in the playground, but that's where we're currently at, ground zero. But I'd like to think I'm an intelligent guy, couple of degrees, mathematical brain, computer programmer...can I learn how to technically analyse graphs to...cliche alert...buy low and sell high?!
In Dec 2017 I took £500 to create my cryptocurrency portfolio. I currently have 75% of that in Ethereum, Neo, Iota, Substratum and Steem, which I'm holding for at least the rest of 2018. That leaves me around £120 worth of Bitcoin (was a lot more yesterday!) to start off my trading adventure. What a pathetic amount I hear you cry...absolutely...and when I tell you my aim is make a measly 1% a day, you might tell me to get my tent ready for this years holiday. If, however, over the next 30 days I can consistently hit that 1% mark, I shall look to stick in a bit more cash to liven things up a bit.
So let's go, I'll be documenting my learning, progress, gains and undoubtedly mistakes over the coming days, weeks and months. I'll be as transparent as I can, and if we can all learn a bit along the way then happy days.
Peace
