Well it depends upon your outlook for the future. I am starting to think the best investment outside the crypto sphere will be in guns, ammunition, and gasoline.
I don't know how this works in the UK, but in the US, we have recently been allowed some limited availability into early stage startups through the likes of Wefunder and SeedInvest. It's sort of like Kickstarter, but you get a promise of real equity through a S.A.F.E document ("Simple Agreement for Future Equity").
I know you said the metals are a bit boring but they could possibly be the best thing you could have if the shit does hit the fan , cheers mike
