I think its just a matter of time till something big happens that will get more users to move to both steemit and BTS. For example if medium where to shutdown then I can imagine a great deal of users from medium will move to steemit, almost how we saw many vine users move to youtube after vine closed down. If something big were to happen to a large number of conventional crypto exchanges then people would start looking at decentralized options like bitshares and move onto that. Mass adoption of bitshares would increase the marketcap of BTS in my opinion and thus could bring up the value significantly. Perhaps not this year, but at some point I would like to see BTS go to 0.50 or even $1.

However, if you base the current volume with the current price and use the same ratio to increase the value to just over $10, the volume would need to be roughly $287 billion, which happens to be currently greater than that of bitcoin's. We will have to see.

Good video and realistic comments.Nobody can predict the trend concerning the currencies in general for 2018. If in US the tax cuts will be a positive year for stock market it will also boost the crypto currencies. But nothing is sure. Patience & Prudence.
No one even in their dreams could have imagined that bitcoin one day could reach $13000. This has caused some side-effects too. Many newcomers are buying some dead Coins which had only negative growth in the cryto world.

Will it grow to completely Maddening new highs or will it crash?
Will Bitcoin be dethroned as the top coin?

My worst prediction was BTS. Optimistically I was thinking .05-.06. Good luck 2018! Where's the predicts for this year?

Neo - $500
ETH - $1300
BTC - $45,000
Vericoin - $12.50
Cardano - $50
Verge - $25
Ripple - $0.25

I am sure nobody predicted that BTC will hit $20k before the end of 2017.
