Cryptocurrencies have gotten traction because everyone sees the technology as an antidote to the cancer known as FIAT money. The cryptocurrency ecosphere is an entire movement, not just some fancy tech that consumers will get bored of in 5 minutes.
What if all cryptocurrencies were made illegal in all countries, what would you do? Because you said if they were made illegal where you live then you'd just move to another country, what if they where illegal everywhere?
He would rather leave a country than not obey the laws he knows are wrong and that's why I ask, not because I think all countries would make all crypto illegal. We will probably just end up with different levels of legality for each country, different laws, but I don't think there will be a single country that doesn't regulate them.
I agree I think cryptocurrency will be around for a long time , and yes some will come and go . The loss of internet could be a concern if it was for a long time, cheers mike
I am in your same shoes. I am all in, as far as long term investments go, with cryptocurrencies. This is uncharted waters, but I, like you, am very confident in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. Besides being a potentially lucrative investment, I also am very optimistic about cryptocurrencies' potential for disrupting many of the corrupt, oligarchic, centralized organizations that currently run our systems.

That is never going to happen, there will always be those who see opportunity and stay open for crypto. All the money is going to go to them...

Even if the floor falls out from a major crypto collapse. It will fall and eventually regain its strength.
Crypto and blockchain tech is here to stay. Whether the current investors abandon the movement or not, this movement is going to continue.
Then I will just use opportunity to buy more ;)
