BCC is certainly a competitor of BTC, it is faster, cheaper and the tech is better. However at the moment there is no chance of it unseating BTC at the head of the table because it BTC is the 'brand' everyone knows, BCC is still an 'altcoin' at the end of the day and its future is not as certain as that of BTC. Also BTC is massively helped by the fact that it underpins all or at least many of the alt coins, some can only be bought in BTC so it will always have a value there unless changes are made.

So, expensive, slow and clunky, but ultimately the go to digital currency at the moment and the one which loads of random people are just buying for no reason and holding, because they saw it on the TV!
