Craig Wright, who already proclaimed he was the one who created Bitcoin is now going to face justice for a fraud of more than 5 billion dollars.
In 2016, M. Wright proclaimed himself Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious inventor of Bitcoin. Although, he is now being sued for stealing hundeds of thousands of Bitcoins and other assets to his ex-business partner Dave Kleiman, a security expert. On behalf of Kleiman’s estate, his brother Ira filed the lawsuit.
M. Kleiman had a terrible motorcycle accident that put him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He died in 2013 from an MRSA infection.
According to the documents of the lawsuit, Dave Kleiman and Craig Wright teamed up to mine Bitcoins and, at that time, they possessed more than 1.1 million Bitcoins together. They also, they created a firm called W&K Info Defense Research LLC that was working on Bitcoin mining and software development. M. Kleiman owned between 50 and 100 percent of W&K, mentioned the lawsuit. His estate owns the right to $5,118,266,427.50 worth of intellectual property rights and Bitcoin.
According to the filing, as of now, it is unclear wether it is M. Kleiman, M. Wright or both of them that is responsible for the creation of the Bitcoins. However, it is “undeniable” that the pair was involved in bitcoin “from its inception,” and that they acquired a “vast” number of bitcoins from 2009 to 2013.
The lawsuit alleges that M. Craig created a minimum of 3 false contracts to steal the Bitcoins mined by his ex-business partner Dave Kleiman by appausing a computer-generated signature.
If you already have so much bitcoin, why steal from your partner. That is truly an evil person.
This is a sad story. I agree with you 100%.
