Definitely interested to hear more on this. I'm sitting at a friends house with a fully functional miner running. I think he said it cost 10k? They aren't something you want to keep in your bedroom, that's for sure. The sound of money has changed!
But I'm curious what a build yourself system has cost you so far?
Ahh super cool!! We dropped about 5,200 USD on all of the materials to run the 2 rigs. The hashing power should be good. I am going to wall off a small area in my upstairs and run a window ac, and a few small fans. I think our idea for cooling is going to work well. According to NiceHashMiner, we should see a return on investment in 4-5 months!!!!
That's awesome! I believe the person I am referring to spent 10k because of his impatience, and inability to build the product himself lol. But your miners sound like they will be just as good as the one he purchased. At that rate of return, I would buy any day for sure.
