RE: When Will Crypto Mass Adoption Occur?

Have you looked into EOS much? It covers a lot of the obstacles that you bring up as hindering mass adoption.

It is(will be when launched) as fast as its centralised counterparts 1mill+ tps

Public keys are configurable, ie you could have your first and last name as your public key which is much more user friendly, no more uncomfortable copy and pasting your address.

Funds and private keys are recoverable if you make a mistake or have them stolen.

If fraud happens then an account can be frozen and funds recovered without the need for a hard fork disrupting the network.

I know you are a keen proponent of Steemit, a decentralised version of social media that is almost indistinguishable in functionality from its centralised counterparts , which instead of selling your data pays you for your content. Its creator Dan Larimer is also the brains behind EOS.

I know that dpos isn't as fully decentralised as pow but I think its a compromise worth taking to gain mass adoption.

With the $1 billion warchest to incentive devs to launch apps on their platform and recoverability of lost funds, I agree EOS could be the next big thing.
