As Ethereum is facing issues regarding security and transaction capacity, NEO is being looked as a replacement of ETH. Other crypto currencies are aiming to provide smart contract features but they are not ready yet. So NEO is expected to steal market share of Ethereum and the new ICOS will be built on top of NEO. No security issues have been found in NEO so far and its proving to be a powerful alternative.
NEO has a lower current circulating supply compared to ETH so its price is expected to rise higher than what ETH experienced in 2017. NEO also gives reward to holders as GAS and you can calculate how much gas you earn per day by going to https://neotogas.com currently, 100 NEO would give you 0.027 gas per day. As NEO uses GAS to transact tokens, the actual price of GAS is also expected to rise in the same order as NEO.

I think NEO has its own place but wont "replace" ETH. If anything replaces ETH it is going to be EOS.
Yes, could be EOS longer term but EOS is in the development phase and not ready yet. Only current alternative is NEO.

Dont keep your NEO on Binance. Get a wallet up and running on your PC and make sure its virus free. And store your SEED at a safe place. Best to write it down on a paper.
