First when it comes to Coin (ang Hari jan ay si BTC) while the others are called AltCoins. Sa coins there are different types too. There are coins na pre-mined like XRP na centralized and controlled by sponsored/developers banks (medyo contradiction xa sa original design ni BTC, well BTC is actually an open source kaya institutions and org/people can create their own coins, kaya nagkakaron din ng fork. Coins have diff algo, this actually covers the security and features of a coin especially when it comes to mining (POW). While others uses POS (Some calls this as Staking while others are Minting--the concept is, you can earn % of coins you are holding or staking, with required numbers of assets).

Token, these are actually assets that are normally but not limited to smart contracts, like eos, trx and more. Most of them are ICO's and they are associated to ETH unless they separate and make they own blockchian/mainnet.
