If you don't watch the entire video PLEASE listen to what is said at this timeframe, there is a very important reason exchanges have been blocking US customers and it's for your protection against exchanges which have been involved in practices which would result in them getting shut down in an instant in any decently regulated marketplace, American or not. USDT are NOT USD and have allegedly been used for price rigging! Any exchange that lists USDT is not giving you USD! Run, don't walk, from exchanges where USDT is the only option.

Care to explain why?
Personally, I can see the value in the trading platform and the indices that they will offer. This will make crypto much more accessible to the general public. However, since ETH is used to buy the indices, I don't really see the use or value of the Hedge token.
Giovanni mentions that it'll be scarce due to low amount in circulation and the fact that they'll be buying some of them with profits made, but just because something is scarce, doesn't necessarily make it valuable.

how do you think or your prediction about bitcoin price in 2018 whether it will be increasing or going down.
I just want to survey some people's opinion
It'll go down, fees are sky high, as are transaction times, making it unusable as a currency. other alternatives will take its place. Not to mention the fact that bitcoin is a bubble ready to pop.
That's what I've been thinking. SegWit and the Lightning Network are supposed to address these problems, but they aren't likely to be in effect for several months at least. In that time Bitcoin's reputation will have been damaged, and the other coins that are faster and cheaper will become more popular.
Not sure if it’s in a bubble per say, but the fees are way to high!
People are buying up cheaper crypto and profiting with a lot less fees.
I was looking at bubble patterns and bitcoin has followed the pattern uncannily - right now I'd say it's at the 'return to "normal"' phase
Eh, I'd say we're at the "media attention" phase.
It's still getting a lot of media attention but it's spiked and the price is only going down from now on. The "mania phase" was when it went from $2000 to $20000 in a couple of weeks.

Informative post. Shots fired on bitconnect at 9:19. If Hedge is avoiding bitconnect then it means we have to stay miles away from it. I am new to cryptocurrency but I think the points that will distinguish a good cryptocurrency from a bad one will be security protocols, transaction rate and transaction speed. As a lot of cryptocurrency companies are developing, so the race will be on these 3 important facts. Especially the transaction speed will be the key point.

Wow, that's so interesting. I might be missing something here, but I guess I don't quite get how Hedge helps "brings crypto to the masses" if it serves as a way for people to more easily invest in altcoins. While I do see the value of this, it seems more like Hedge helps bring "speculation of crypto" to the masses. But I guess that still drives currency doesn't it? Geez I feel like I've been getting a degree in economics since learning about crypo haha. Great interview.
Yeah you're definitely right about the speculation aspect here. No doubt it's not exactly helping to educate investors on what exactly they are putting their money into.. Sadly that's what this space is slowly turning into it seems, people just want to make a quick buck. It's a shame because there's an opportunity for them to educate themselves on a technology that will change the world! It would blow their minds! My dad has actually recently really gotten into learning a whole lot more about this space... I love it. It's totally refreshed his spirit :)
