I've just got my first payout in the last couple of days and have yet to power up. Just as a point of learning, would it have been better to power up before the crash rather than now or doesn't it make any difference?

That´s hard to say. Before the crash the SBD price was above 12$ and you could get about 4 steem per SBD, now it´s just 3. But anyways it´s a good thing to power up at any time as I strongly believe in Steem to reach 10$ in the short term ;)
Thanks for that. Will probably have to wait until after Christmas now so I can read my notes and watch a video about powering up. But seems like you're saying "just do it" as it's a long term thing. 😁

Was planning on "just doing it"before Christmas but chickened out when I watched the video. Still in the middle of celebrations here and big birthday at the weekend so it might be next week before I have another go.
