Well, if you love this platform then founder status may be worth it. A lifetime 10% bonus to earnings is pretty significant for starters, but most importantly you get first pick at setting up niche channels.
So just like with Reddit, if you are the owner of /r/Bitcoin then you have something quite valuable, as there will always ever be one subreddit for Bitcoin.
Since owners of niches get paid if their niche is popular, this means you have a superb opportunity to get a niche before anybody else does and make a lot of money from it.
