MaidSafeCoin - I saw this Crpyto long ago but I didn't pay much attention to it, putting on my shitcoin list for a lame reason. Yeah, the name. But after sometime I bought a few coins and then eventually started reading about the project. I found it very interesting. It's like a whole new world they are trying to build. Even after reading, I thought it was going to take a lot of time and patience (which apparently I don't have at all).
But these guys are sick. One heck of a team committed to a cause, working non-stop, without shilling, pump n dump, not in the price race at all.
The MaidSafeCoin project is developed by MaidSafe Network. The MaidSafe firm is located in the Scotland. MaidSafe project started way before than 2014 and they are continuously building this monster, if successful could take the internet world by storm. Eventually all MaiSafeCoins will be converted to another token that is SafeCoin with 1:1 ratio. The current coin is just issued for the development.
Their webhosting platforms, web browser and SAFE mails are in testnet and can be downloaded from their web platform.
MaidSafeCoin uses PoR (Proof of Research) method for it's farming. Farmers will receive SafeCoins for their farming which is a similar concept to the mining. You can read more about farming here
As of now, you can not start farming. There's no deadline when we will be able to start farming but i believe it will be somewhere between Alpha 3 and 4 release. As of now, MaidSafe is in Alpha 2 stage.
I would strongly recommending holding this coin. Do not expect it to gain value overnight. It's a long term coin, at least 6-12 months before it gives you remarkable returns. It's definitely one for the future.

Here's how it works.
There will be thousands of computers/individuals who will work as "Farmers". A farmer is basically a Node that will store all the data, communication between you, network. With Farming, you can basically farm from the very device you’re reading this on. Phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops can all farm Safe Coin.
In short, to be a farmer you will need a Bandwidth, a computer/device and some online time. You will be rewarded for those in terms of SafeCoin.
Now imagine, the internet. If the Safe Network get's even 0.05% of Network traffic it would be huge for the coin to thrive in itself.
In simple words, they are building a decentralized Internet controlled by the very you otherwise known as farmer and the user.
