Determined to realize his vision, Robert creates an account for free, proves his identity and gets himself verified. He starts creating a detailed description of the game, how it all works and how he plans to realize it. He soon finishes his writing and he adds it to his profile.
Now it’s time to create the token. He pays a small fee and creates a token for his game. He creates 10,000 tokens in total, which all have a price of 1$. All of these tokens combined represent 100% of the revenue in the future.
Robert decides to leave 1,500 tokens for himself and 1,500 tokens to pay future team members, 10% of the tokens or 1,000 tokens goes to GetGame and its community to keep this platform running and free for everybody, and the other 6,000 tokens are put up for sale.
His unique vision attracts a lot of people who see incredible potential in this game and he sells his 6,000 tokens almost immediately and receives $6,000 for his venture.
Now, to start getting things done, Robert starts looking for team members in the GetGame community and without much effort finds an experienced developer, an amazing designer, and a creative copywriter. They all see potential in the game and accept tokens as payment. Robert gives each one of them 500 of his tokens.
Robert and his team members go onto the platform’s workspace and they create a plan. Robert assigns tasks and deadlines, he organizes the whole effort and he can easily communicate with each of the members wherever he is. After everything is planned out, they start working. The game is being developed and designed, there’s a constant stream of content about the game and the development process, and through the platform, Robert has also created ads that are targeted with pinpoint accuracy to reach the right people.
After some time, the game is finally finished and it’s time to launch. Thanks to smart execution Robert has already gathered a group of hard-core fans and when he launches the game, it is an instant hit. His game reaches the top 100 within a week and the purchases show no signs of stopping.
Within the first month the game brings in $30,000 in revenue. All of this revenue is shared with the token holders in proportion to the tokens they hold. This means that all of Robert’s team members get paid $1,500 in the first month, Robert earns $4,500, GetGame is given $3,000 from which 40% is shared with the community and the rest is used to pay the bills, the rest of the revenue is shared among the people who bought the tokens.
Although Robert understands that all of this success was not a coincidence but the combination of many different factors, he is still baffled by all of it. Only a few months ago he was a simple mechanic who passionately fixed engines, but now thanks to a simple idea and the right platform with the right tools he was able to create a game that spreads his passion with the whole world in just a few months.
