RE: Venezuela Launching a "Petro-Gold" backed Crypto! Addicted to Crypto Much?

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Like someone said in another comment:

Petro or Petro Gold will not function as a crypto but as a bond for national debt.

And he is right. As a curious girl, I tried to see how it was the pre-sale of this crypto but let me start off by saying is really difficult to register in the page, difficult to buy and the rules are not that clear. It looks more like if they want to suck all of your money and give you nothing back. I wouldn't trust anything that takes so long to give you a feedback. Oh and last but not least, the only way to buy it is with dolars, euros, BTC or ETH, so... It's not for "everyone" like they said; why I say this? Because here in Venezuela not everyone has the opportunity to buy dolars, BTC, etc; then what is the actual point to create a cryto for Venezuela if you can't use Bolívares to buy it too? They just want to have money for national debt...

Oh wow! You're from there! That's amazing! Thank you for sharing your on-ground-real-life perspective of the situation. Tell all your Venezuelan friends and family to buy bitcoin and get on steemit! :D

Please let us know more of what the sentiment is over there among the local people about what the government is doing. Do they not trust the government with this? The majority?

You got an upvote of love from all of us outside Venezuela!

Yeah, I'm from Venezuela! Nobody trust them anymore, unless you're crazy or work with them Lol, that's the only way someone would believe what the government says Hahaha
Lots of love to you from Venezuela!

Wowow! That's so cool getting on the ground information from you! Thank you so much for sharing the sentiment of the people! God bless the people of Venezuela! Here's another upvote for your local info! :D
