True I am VERY optimistic about steemit too. I read somewhere we have around 30.000 active users. That very little. The mass still has to discover us. Imagine what that will do to the price!

This site is being sustained by a select few compared to the 1B members of FB (if that is accurate LOL).
Either way, what if this site gets 1M active members? What does it do then?
Hmmm, one thing is for sure, the price will sky rocket.
I have my concernes though about if steemit.com will be able to handle all the traffic, and more importantly if the blockchain can handle it.
I was told by @acidyo that the steemit blockchain can handle 180k tx per second vs bitcoin can only handle around 7 per second. So if thats true, it looks good for Steemit.
I dont know the stats but I did read the blue paper and it said that the steem blockchain already can handle significantly more volume than either Bitcoin or Ethereum.
When you consider how many transactions occur on here, I would say that it is accurate.
Lets hope so :)
and we will notice it anyway.
